I think it’s the jack that you’re using. It’s should be mono jack cable. Have a look on that guitar cable if it’s got two rings, then that is stereo. You need a mono jack which has only got one ring. Google it and look for mono guitar cable and compare it to a stereo guitar cable. The other term for it is TS jack vs TRS jack.

I think there’s no mute button. It’s meant to make that beep when it’s on metronome. Perhaps someone here’s knows more and can help.

It does. The other issue I found is that when the power outlet is slight low voltage, the unit fluctuates past 12 o clock. This happened to me a couple of times. Mostly it’s ok. At first I thought it’s the speaker cab but I think it’s the main socket that’s got problem. It’s a bit sensitive. If any consolation, even though the vol level is only at 12 o clock, it’s already loud.

There’s a factory problem with this pedal. The button of the expression pedal doesn’t come in contact so you need to remove one of the rubber underneath because they put two. @@eduhudtwalcker oh ok. I’m sorry. I think this unit Zoom G1xOn can only do either just wah or set as volume. It can’t do both. Another solution is to buy there donner or sonicake volume expression pedal

I’m not sure as well coz the one I bought was just a replacement battery from Thomann and it’s seems ok for me. It’s been years since I replaced it and it still works ok.

After using it for a long while, I think my major issue with this pedal is that there’s a delay when changing patch. I didn’t notice it before because it’s the only pedal I’m using. But now that I’ve tried quite a few pedals/multieffects, I can really sense the delay.

It only works as on/off for Left footswitch and then the Right one is like a cursor to right. So you can choose which effects you want and then turn on with the other pedal. I think it’s like if you got a TS Drive or diist or OD that you want to turn on keep that cursor on that one so can turn on and off with the other pedal. Then with songs that you want delay then you can change and put it on the delay or chorus and just turn on and off when needed. The other way to do it would be if you got zoom G1xFour. Then you can use the expression pedal and assign it at chorus or reverb and then on stomp mode you can use the other pedals for different fx assigned.

Pwede sya pero di ganun ka-user friendly. Bale press mo yung enter twice para sa edit mode nya. Tapos ang cursor to L and R ima-manu mano mo syang select kng anong effects ang gusto mong i-on or off. So sa case ko kng ang kailangan lng ay delay dun ko na i-steady ang effects para apak n lng ng footswitch to turn it on and off. Kng ang drive or dist naman ang gusto mo ganun din gagawin. Pero isang paraan din ay yung cursor lagyan mo ng rubber adhesive para pwede mong maapakan para makapag select ka while nakatayo.

You’re precisely correct and that’s exactly what I got my zooom g1four got option which is automatic. When I plug in a mono jack cable it’s for an amp and if I plug in a stereo jack it identifies it as a headphones out which could be a line out or for FRFR. Unlike other modeller which got a designated output for headphones or designated output for lineout. So I was intending to use an amp that day. Another thing that I set up for my zoom g1Four was I turned off the cab sim and amp sim on certain bank so my bank 2 and 4 or the 20-29 and 40-49 patches are for an actual amp and my 30-39 and 50-59 are for flat response speakers. My 10-19 patches are mix from bypass to other stuff. Thank you for pointing it out better but yeah I know it as well. I went there again and had another jam session with a different band and I brought my own DIY amp which was Mooer baby bomb 30 to a Laney diy 10 inch 30 speaker and it worked perfectly and loud. The guitarist on the other hand who used that amp was using analog pedal the boss ds1 and Jim Dunlop crybaby and a newly purchased fender delay hammertone coz there’s a music store near the studio. He struggled with that amp he was so quiet. I mean couldn’t cut through the drums and guitars. We think that there’s like a switch or button in that amp that lowered the wattage from 50 watt to like 5 watt. But we couldn’t find any switch or button. It’s either the amp got a problem or issue with the speaker. I have rented that amp during our gigs. Twice I rented it and I was using my zoom G1xOn. Not sure if it’s both occasions. I may have used zoom g1four on the second time I rented it, I can’t remember but yeah the amp is loud. And in the studio as I said it’s my go to amp and it’s always loud. But lately that wasnt the case. So I informed the owner of the studio. I’m going there again on the 4th and will try it again. Will let you know. Anyways, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. More people can benefit from it.

My solution to that would be saving it as a patch. Let’s say I want chorus, delay and distortion to turn on altogether. I will save it for example on bank 50 as my lead and then save on 51 just the chorus and turn off dust and delay. That would mean that when I chose 50 I got my dust, delay and chorus then if I step the foot switch to 51 dust and delay will be off and I only got chorus. Or even turn off them three. @@vincentryanborres thank you. that might be the solution, it's just that the patch without any effects is causing more humming sound then the one with effects.

Yup that’s partly correct with the humming. But if you limit the number of effects or use the ZNR (zoom noise reduction) it will lessen it although the sustain and the actual sound of your guitar is affected as well so yeah it’s really tricky using this multi effects pedal. It’s really best to have a pedalboard for a better quality sound of your guitar. I usually set up my patches where I can have like 4 lined up. Let’s say my clean tone is 55 and then my crunch/overdrive is 56 and my lead tone is 57 then on 54 is either an ambient delay or bass sim if I’m on my own doing looping. So that I can just step down to 54 to get that sound and back to 55 for my regular clean tone.

It’s a nice, it’s got a different character but as you said for the price, I’m not really sure. But this one I think is second hand or just an old guitar in the studio. Action is bit high for me. I haven’t tried plugging it in but unplugged, I’m very happy with the sound/tone. I think the Ibanez electroacoustic and Yamaha and even the cheap fender dreadnought should be ok. I think it’s more of the brand name that you will be paying for this guitar.

You’re welcome and that’s really true, one T-shirt feels like forever how much more trousers, dress or shirts. But the consolation is that it’s wireless.
